finally a day of spending quality time at home with myself.

ytd was a fun day also.
hahaa.
earned some extra cash tooo!
cus we had to reach the office earlier to attend some briefing.
they didnt brief us much either.
lol.
they brought us to tanglin camp.
another place where there were alot of art exhibits.
it was fantastic.
and i got to know new friends.
hahaa.

den xianwen came to find me in the afternoon.

after which we went to meet our secondary sch classmates,
chengying charmain celine sharon wilsonchee kennethyeo kennethkoh kangwei and matthew to celebrate kianping's bday.

i tell you,
the jap guys are damn hot can.
so are the girls there too. :D

and i was so shocked the moment i got there.
cus i tot that the education system that they used there are based on singapore's education system.
but.... no!
the jap sch there are follow the japan's education system.
which means they read and write and communicate in jap!
LOL.
so, they arent very good in english.
and we seriously had a communication breakdown with them
LOL.

the activities at the carnival/festival thingy was really really creative.
they had haunted house, alice in wonderland, quiz time, traditional jap games and,
jap uniforms for you to try on!
awww.
the decorations in the school are fabulous.
can see that they really put in alot alot of work into this festival.
haha.

and theres this cute jap guy that yiqian thinks that he's absolutely cute.
LOL.
maybe not cute as me.

am so bored.
shall blog again.

rmb that i mention in my preious entry that i went out with xian on my bday?
while we were walking to lavender mrt,
we saw SJAB HQ!

it brought back so much so much memories to me.

all the backstabbings and stuff by lky and jf.
and the gossiping about meepok!
AHAHAH.
and the eerie happenings during sjab camp!
but my friendship with mich still remains throughout the 4yrs.
and i got to know xian and laychyi.
and we became really goooooood friends.
so it wasnt a bad thing staying in sjab either.
i got to gain 3 friends.

and if you ask me,
who's the first one that came to my mind whenever i think of sjab?
that has to be luther lim.
hahahaha.
that ugly man who always pick on me. :(
okay that was in the past and i WAS childish.
hahaa.
but just let me complain.
LOL.
all the pumpings.
all the runnings.

and we didnt even get any respect for our work.

hahaha come to think of it,
i think ive forgotten almost all the first aid stuff i learnt.
:(
head bandage, elevation sling, arm sling or whatever.
i cant rmb.
i saw qihui's friendster acc a few days ago.
cant believe she was learning first aid in sajc.
yup. and i felt so shy.
cus i totally forgot my first aid skills.
HAHAHAH.
thats typical of me.

BUT I STILL CAN RMB HOW TO DO CPR.

so if you faint one day,
u can count on shanggeok.

and i still rmb-ed always going to the army market.
with michelle and her bestie lky.

and the nco camp.
the 10km hike,
mich fell sick
and lky and jf managed to skip that hike just bcus they flirted with the instructors.

AND I HIKED 10KM OKAY.
im strong.
call me superwoman geok.
HAHAH.
and i bet we must have done lots and lots of pumpings
and lots of drilllllls during the camp.
and you've got to change into your sjab full uniform (with all the badges, belts, socks, berets, hairnet all in the correct place, all proper and intact) in only 5mins time.

dont know how i managed to survive those stuff.

and my first non-family trip to malaysia.
i went with sjab.

im ashamed to say,
but we were quite close back then.
but i cant deny,
i had fun.
haa.
i'll nvr forget the fireflies that ive seen in the middle of a very beautiful lake.
i dunno where was that.
but it was damn good can.

and the nicest thing was that they always force you to drink lots and lots and lots of water.
until the extent that you know u cant drink anymore and you alrdy feel like vomiting.
and i mean really lots of water!
like about half the water of a fully filled 1.5L water bottle.
which is about 750ml of water at one go.
how nice was that?
and i know you've got the urge to call me superwoman geok now.

can you imagine,
i know how to pitch a tent back then.
so u want to call me superwoman geok now?
hahahah.

of all the stuff i did in sjab,
i love kayaking and doing public duty the most!
i still rmb-ed my kayaking partner was laychyi!
she was super goood.
maybe she can be superwoman geok's assistant,
robin hood.

but i really like kayaking.

and the capsizing drill!
and the sun, the sand and the fun!:D

and public duty is like
whenever there are events,
be it school events like sports day, cross country,
or public events like istana open house, ndp parade,
sjab ppl will be stationed at there.
so that in case if there are any accidents or minor injuries,
sjab ppl can be there to help.
HAHHA.
and im the public duty in charge.
whahahha.
the reason why i love public duty is because
i get to skip the cross country every year.
so i dont need to run like hell.
hahahaha.
strictly speaking,
in my 4years of secondary school life,
ive only ran ONCE in cross country.
pathetic right?
but i like.
lol.
and i so love travelling in the sjab ambulance.
so i want to ask you readers again,

im back from genting.
the trip was so-so lah.
not too bad.
but i ate alot. HAHA.

today was a fun and dumb day.

rmbed i lost my wallet abt a week ago?
ive got my posb card inside my wallet.
so i went to make a new posb card today.
it was supposed to be a happy thing,
until i mysteriously keyed in the wrong pwd 3 consective times when i tried to withdraw money from my account.
:(
so i was unable to make any other transaction cus the card has been terminated or smth.
then i went to the posb place to ask this customer service women what happened to my cardo.
she wrote some stuff and told me that my card will be activated tonight after 6pm.
den,
i went to tried my card at abt 7.
STILL CANNOT WORK. :(

so dumb and blur of me right!
how could i forgot/key wrong my pwd!

these few days have been really really tiring for me.
so allow me to briefly summarise what happened during this short period of time.

qian&mich came over to my hse on wed,
and we went job hunting.
called up lots of companies.
but got rejected like a million times.
still,
we got some companies asking us to go to their company for an interview first.

alrighty.
we went for interview on thurs.
first up:
a company called dynamic asia.
wth.
a strange company.
they hired us,
to be promoters and stuff.
but we rejected.
whahaha.

the second one was rather normal looking.
we applied to do admin work.
yup.
they called us to come again another day for the second interview.
thats all.

today:
we went for interviews again.
and congrats to michelle!
she got a job:D
whahaha. good pay.
:D
and congrats to qian and me!
HAHAHAH.
(im crazy.)
we found a job too.
the pay's not so good,
but welll,
its at least better than nothing.
so dont be shy if you see me around city hall area. :D

and these few days of job hunting made me realised smth.

of cus, i love my name shanggeok.
even though its abit teochew,
but i still love it.
the prob is,
sometimes, its hard for people to rmb and pronounce my name properly.

whenever i tell ppl my name for the first time,
they will usually be like,
''huh? whats your name again?''
or ''do you have a christian name?''
and, (dont laught at me okay.)
the name sharon was the name that i could think of.
so yup,
my workname shall be sharon.

im kind of missing alot of people.
really alot.
all my secondary school classmates and best friends like xianwen, huiyuan, audrey:D, chengying, celine, charmaine, magdalene, yiwen, laychyi, steph, shiqi, kennethyeo, wilsonchee ( i just saw him today. omg. he really lost alot of weight. i shld have stayed in SA with him! hahahah. ), chankianping, JOLYN TEE, eugenie, kailyn, shengzhi!, suling, and lots more.
and of cause,
my bestest friends:
yiqian and michelle. :D

so childish, i know,
to name out all my friends one by one.
im not in primary school whereby you write all those autography books and name your ''gold/ 100% friends'' and your ''enemy/ 0% friend'' one by one.
but i just want to aknowledge them,
to thank them for making my secondary school life so wonderful! :D

somehow,
i think i should thank god.
ive made such good friends in my 4years of secondary school life.
im grateful for all these that god has given me.

not forgetting my poly friends:
stephie, mol, and ying san.:D
and not forgetting khairul, josh, adrian san!, junyong,................. basically everyone in my class except them. HAHA.
who has help me in a great deal of way in adapting to the new environment here.
and it has been a great 4 months (am i right?) with them. :D

god has a purpose for everyone.

but its not a bad thing though. hahah (:
