ohmy.
i happened to chance across her profile listed in NP just now.
and yes,
judging from her face, she is an angmoh. absolutely.
but she's different from other angmohs, who come here as FOREIGN TALENTS,
she is a CLEVER ANGMOH.
totally.
i'll show you why:)
"Ever since Patricia left her native Germany to work and study abroad her training and career has been marked by variety.
Having studied Archaeology in Freiburg and Glasgow,
she did a one-year training course in BBC Scotland, focusing on radio and television production as well as desktop publishing;
leading to working as a freelance reporter, researcher, and writer during her time in Scotland.
When moving to Australia she chose to pursue her environmental interest and hence worked one year for the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory in national park management.
In 2001 she moved to Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore), working in the tourism and education industry, as well as in Sales and Marketing for a Singapore listed manufacturing company
Outside work Patricia engages in an equal amount of hobbies and interests.
She loves to travel, is a dedicated scuba diver, and loves to go hill walking and mountain climbing, goes frequently to the cinema, and is never seen without a book to read.
She also trains wu shu, power-walks, and swims, in order to maintain a healthy level of fitness.
Patricia sees herself as a global citizen and is now dedicated to pass her diverse knowledge and experience to her students. “Singapore is a small country, but part of a large region, and an even larger world. Today’s youths need to learn to see the bigger picture, and I love to help them to broaden their horizons.” "
and did i mention, she is a vegetarian! LOL.
OHMAN.
I THINK SHE'S REALLY A CLEVER ANGMOH.
now i really salute her.
EUUU ROCKXZX WORHXZX^^
SHOOO LI HAI NEHZXZX!
wu shu! ohmygod~ and powerwalk? lol.
and she studied Archaeology ! thats something that ive always been quite interested in, but its just a random thought that never gets into action. okay whatever.
and she's trained in BBC.
yadayada.
her list of achievements are mentioned above.
ohwow.
i think she's like a modern superwoman.
not superMAN. hahah~
now i really see her in a different light.
maybe german is not so bad after.
how often can you get a lecturer who knows Archaeology, trained in bbc, knows wushu and powerwalks?
at least i feel slightly motivated to start on my german essay which is due tml by 5pm. LOL.
now, thats a true capable angmoh,
compared to mirko stoll.
HAHAH IM NOT LAZY, ITS JUST THAT I AM MORE EFFICIENT THAN THE OTHER.
but germans are all germans,
they love to talk to themselves.
thats so so true.
but they are supposed to be honest, punctual, and reliable.
arent they?
HAHAHA~
